This interactive data visualization was designed to highlight the diverse interests of Leonardo community members.

The design resembles a musical score, and plays notes representing each members interest areas. By showing a constant stream of members, and all of the interests they list, this visualization demonstrates both that Leonardo has a large number of members, that each member is unique, and that that interests of their members span multiple combinations of many different fields.

As Leonardo centers around interdsicplinary studies, this visualization is aligned with the organization.

JEFFREY HAWKINS
AREAS OF INTEREST

My current area of interests is developing well designed data visualizations that are unique, informative, useful and engaging. Additionally I’m focused on combining data visualization and generative art practices to create generative art/visualizations, and then useing various production methods to make physical representations of the generated works.
